There are 388.68 square kilometers in Teknaf Upazila (Cox’s Bazar district) between 20°23′ and 21°09′ north latitudes and 92°05′ and 92°23′ east longitudes. It’s surrounded by the Ukhia upazila on the north, the Bay of Bengal on the south, the Arakan State of Myanmar on the east, and the Bay of Bengal on the west. The Teknaf upazila is 86 km from Cox’s Bazar Town in the south east corner of Bangladesh.
