A study and research of uncultivated land in Ramu led to the introduction of rubber cultivation in 1960-61. It has now become one of the top tourist destinations in the country thanks to its tradition of growing rubber. The garden occupies an area of 2,072 acres at the present time. One hundred and thirty-three acres of liquid were collected. The rubber plantation of Ramu has approximately 58,000 productive trees. This tree produces approximately two and a half lakh kilograms of rubber annually. In textbooks, this sentence is also referred to as the famous Ramu rubber garden.
The rubber plantation is just two kilometers north of Ramu Chaumuhani station on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway. Rickshaws, taxis, or other vehicles can be taken there. If you are going to Cox’s Bazar from Dhaka, you can get off the bus 18 km before Cox’s Bazar.
